I've seen the movie! Finally. XD. We made fun of it most of the way through. (snickers a bit) I want to see the Jap version now, though. And screenshot it. And... yeah. It was a cool movie, but evidently made by people who write video games, and the plot seemed mostly to exist to move the characters from action segment to action segment.

Well, I have nothing but praise for the movie. So, don't get me started.

Yeah, I pretty much can't watch that movie without completely dying of laughter, now... poor Kadaj and his intensely bad allergies... or swearing problems. Me brother and I pretty much can't tell which.
But all those stinking parodies have totally messed up my head... *snrk*

Hehe, randomness.

MOMMY!!! (snickers) Sorry. Actually, I shall be honest, the scene I loved most is also the one we made the most fun of. The Kadaj/weird guy in Palpy hood scene... well, that, and the stuff with Sephy. But the scene with the two idendification cards... ooohhh, fangirl chills. I loved that. "Swear on these." I want screenshot. JAAAANDALF!! I KNOW YOU'RE NOT READING OVER MY SHOULDER, BUTTTT... I need screenshot. Darn you. kanda;f: lol i win!!!!1 ...Are you Jandalf's evil alter ego stealing my keyboard? She missed. XD. Right. Anyway... Kadaj is hot... (coughs) Sephie's hot. But his hair is evil. (cackles) And, gah, can't Aerith STAY dead?! And, for that matter, get something better than tinkly piano music and boob shots? Um. Yeah. (sheepish grin) Like the cell phones, liked quite a bit of it, but some of it was just laughable and SO easy to parody. And the pit in the extra feature... (snickers) Okay, I'm done. I just loved some of the bits of plot worked in. It reminds me of how I tell stories. With subtle bits, rather than an obvious plot.

The music is great fun... I've been desperately trying to find the soundtrack, but apparently it doesn't come out... until sometime. Can't remember. *sigh*
I like the scene towards the end, with Kadaj and the box. The emotions portrayed were totally and intensely cool. Delerious excitement to shock to complete and utter misery. Cool.
Thus is born Effeminate Guy and Bipolar Dude... *snrk* Heh heh.

XD. It was so easy to make fun of most of the dialogue, but there was a depth hidden in that movie that only people who think too much can see. The people who write fanfiction. You know, out of all mediums to portray a story in? I like graphic novels the best. Because you get pieces of both. It's too bad you can't get music into that, because music can really add depth, but it's nice to get the images mixed with the words.
I love emotions. It's something I simply do. I can find them in everything. The depth of horror, angst, twisted sensations... FF7 was an emotional movie, for the characters. Not for me, because I was too busy making fun of it, but there was depth, and I like that. I tend to write character POVs... scribble them down... for fanfics... they make no sense to some people. FF was a movie you could've done that to.
When you can see pictures from a game/movie and feel the character's emotions, you know they've done well in portraying it, even if the plot sucks sometimes. ;D

Yep. I had to draw Sephiroth after I saw it the last time.
But I totally understand the emotion thing. I always end up drawing characters that I have, or don't have yet, in seemingly over-dramatic or emotive stances. My family gives me these looks, but that's just what comes out of my pencil. It's gotten to the point of where I have trouble writing (or drawing) whole stories, because I focus totally on the emotional parts. Those sections turn into these immensely powerful sections, but there's not enough filler for any of it to really flow. The guy that I have reading and critiquing all of my stuff gets so annoyed, because parts of 'stuff' is so involved, and then the rest of it is just the bare bones of the type of 'stuff' I'm writing.
Drives me insane, as well, 'cause I get totally lost and confused. Like right now, because I have no idea what in the heck I just said. Oh well. But I almost cried in that Cathedral scene. It was pathetic.

The shots of Areis had to focus on below her noselion so you couldn't see her eyes. though, it makes you wonder, how was she able to communicate like that to Cloud.
I wanted to do a video story with subtitles, using Cloud as Brieze, and Aries as Marene, and tell he story of his past using the clips of the movie. Dang thing is I don't have the movie for clips, and I only have paint to subtitle.
