Yes. Good game, but too easy. It's cool that you help Neo and the gang, + there are movie scenes made specifically for the game.

I'm right in the beginning, so no spoilers. The "focus" moves are awesome...but I always hear from this little voice in my head "Naiobi, use the Force!"

Heh, VG thread. Kay, where to start? Nintendo purist; don't own a singly system that's not by the "Big-N." I had a Sega GameGear once...broke in less than a year. Zelda Fanboy; Cy knows. Sig pretty much says that anyways. Beatten every one cept TMC, which is really new. I own all them cept the handheld ones (don't have my gameboy anymore). Fave games: 1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 2. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes 4. Metroid Prime 5. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker 6. Tales of Symphonia 7. Super Smash Bros. Melee 8. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past 9. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door 10. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening 11. Super Metroid 12. The Legend of Zelda 13. Super Mario 64 DS 14. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King 15. Soul Calibur II I'd go through my collection, but that'd take forever.

I was wondering when you'd show up here... heh heh.... I'm pretty sure you are the only Zelda fanboy I've ever met....

Which is strange, considering that there are very many of them; though I'd say not as many a FF fanpeps.

lol, glad you've showed up. I don't know much about fanboys, but not having much competition is, in my opinion, only a good thing. Zelda is cool...though I've only played OoT.

*shurg* moods change like that. I though, am gonna beat KOTOR if it sends me to the dark side, because i want to get the second one with the Sith that eats planetary populations!
there's a new Lego SW game coming out, and it looks so cute! Wierd, but cute. It goes through all the prequels.

I really wanna try KOTOR. I found it for 20 bucks at Target or something. Looked at the requirements and saw that my comp CAN play VGs...something I thought it not capable for. Thought you needed a really high-tech, new-ish one...although mine's only 4 years old. OFF-TOPICNESS! Anyone here (aside from Cy) ever played a Zelda? Just out of curriosity...

Thanks Sheildzup!!!!!!
Thank-you! Thank-you! We beat the game but skipped that level. It's the level in... the third or fourth "set" of levels. (What I mean by that is that in each set there are 5 or 6 levels to choose from at one time and once you finish them in any order you wish you go on to the next set.) In the level you go to some warehouse and some evil little dude lets a big scary mutant rancor out of a cage. Mr. rancor smashes and eats everything in his path, including sithy dudes. You are currently in the first room. To get into the second room, Mr. Rancor has to bust some box or something that hides a door. The door leads to a second room, and that's where we're stuck. We can't get out that stinkin' room. ROAR! Heh, hope that wasn't too confusing, and if ya can help us out we'd be muchly abliged. Thankses!

Move this way up on the list. That's the best Zelda game there is!

though i'll go and get my guide tomorrow, i think the 2nd room is a lot like the first one. You have to pretty much run as fast as possbile to the end of it, where there is another switch that opens a little yellow-orange door. Maybe. Update coming with Cy's gaining of info.

OFF-TOPICNESS! just so you know the minimum requirements are often unplayable(especially on kotor). If your computer is a little above them then you shouldn't have too many slowdowns. (my computer absolutely putts through some parts of kotor and its 1 yr old)

Move this way up on the list. That's the best Zelda game there is! Have you played all the Zeldas on my list? On Gamestats.com and such, OoT is still considered not just the best Zelda, but the greatest game as well. 9.8 average of all the scores from the major Video Game sites on the web. But my money's on this one taking the cake: www.nintendo.com/gamemini?gameid=54610f14-1826-4d46-9981-8f72874aee2e Already the most anticipated game, across all platforms too, and still 10 months off.

*hearts floating around my head* It's on ALL platforms? Even PS2? YAAAY! Oh Link, at last we'll be together!
That looks like a cool game, Master Frodo! What's it called?
Now I'll have to choose whether to spend the fifty bucks on Kingdom Hearts II or Zelda! Decisions, decisions!

Oh no! I'm sorry, I guess I put it the wrong way. This Zelda will only be on the Cube, as all Nintendo developed games are. So unless Nintendo goes of of the system business, you'll never see Mario, Link, or any Nintendo franchises on either of the other systems...unless via illigal emulators.
What I meant to say is that even people who own other systems want this game. Kinda like how you would hear about Halo 2 everywhere...though it's not my kind of game. Though the hype for this game has already reached it's peak and it's still 8-10 months till release. It's had perfect 100 popularity on Gamestats.com for a whole week, today being the last day. And it's still the most popular game.
Yeah, you'd best spend it on KHII. I heard that the first was really good...though I also heard it was a lot like FF with Disney characters. But that's a good thing, right?
I also heard that the PS2 is getting another FF. FFXII. All I know is that it's taking the series back to it's roots, being the first traditonal RPG in the series since FFX. Sounds pretty epic to me, though I have never played a FF.
No name yet for this Zelda...everything will be told at E3 this May. The title, the storyline, and the theme.

i have a Zelda timeline from GameInformer magazine and they say OoT was the best. I have played that and Majora's Mask and therefor agree with them.

D'OH! Why must you violently dash my fragile sea of dreams against the jagged rocks of reality? Goodbye, Link. I guess I'll be seeing you on GBA.
I feel like such a dork. I can't finish A LINK TO THE PAST. I bought it over three years ago and I still haven't finished it. Stupid princesses don't want to leave the cursed dungeon and I don't know why...
You have to try a Final Fantasy, MFB! Thorongil got me hooked on them a few months ago. They're great: The storylines are deep and involving, the characters are well-developed, the random battles are pretty fun... Each game is different, with new worlds and different characters. Try one!

Oh yes, I must try one. I know the Cube's got "Crystal Chronicals," but I heard it wasn't much a FF game. I'll hopfully meet someone someday who'll let me borrow their PSX and FFVII. Heard that one's the best...what would you recomend?
As for ALttP, it sounds like you're having trouble with the Thieves Hidout dungon type thing...I'll give the clues below if you want them:
-----------------------------------------------
Ok, first you want to find the "sage," and bring her close to the entrace. But before you get to the large, four-screen room, you;ll come to the long hall with three doors: two towards the west (one of which will be the door you come out of) and one to the north. That's the door you want. Now, I can't remember exactly, but there should be a large light in the room. But you may have to bomb the floor in an upper room to make that appear. If you see the light (lol) then you want to step into it with the "sage" following. Once "she" gets into this light, "she'll" cry out something about "Argghhhh! The light!" and turn into Blind, the boss of theves and the boss of that temple. As for defeating blind...well, just make sure you have lots of red potions.
-----------------------------------------------
Hopefully my memory serves me right...it's been awhile since I've played ALttP.
