Here is where you can tell how and when you became a Christian and how it has impacted your life!
I became a Christian when I was around 6 years old, I think. I never got serious about my faith until about two years ago, when I began going to the High school youth group at my church. I also went through a pretty rough time during Jr. High involving friends. I went through a lot of backstabbing and that was really hard because I wasn't like that at all. For me, making friends ment staying friends, and that wasn't the way other's saw it. I never realized it until a while ago, but it caused me to carry around a lot of bitterness. When I became homeschooled, I had one really good friend, but we ended up in a falling out, which really broke my heart at the time. I thought nothing would ever be right for me again and I would be lonely forever, but God proved me wrong. First, He used the falling out to bring me much closer to Him and it also caused me to forgive those who had hurt me and to move on with my life instead of hanging on to old scars. Now that I look back I wouldn't have had it happen any differently because, had it not happened, I would probably not be where I am today. He has also blessed me with many friends that I met through being a counselor at the Jr. High youth group and also through people I have met at this very site!
So, basically, God had to take a lot from me in order to bring me into His perfect will, but it was all worth it. God's will always, ALWAYS, works out for the good!
Sorry, that was long!
