Ok, I figured it was time that us "other" group of people come to discuss our beliefs. Anyone is welcome to question and discuss, but I feel like I'm more in my territory when I have my own post. Mwahahahaha!!!

I don't think are demons because there are many good ghosts out there. Of course you have the ones that are evil (I've had friends who have run into them- definitely NOT fun to deal with) but there are definitely ghosts who help ppl. My question though, is what exactly is a ghost? Is it a soul stuck between worlds or something else?
ALso, a ghost is usually classified as a "soul". If in Christianity it is believed that no animals have souls, how can there be ghosts of animals? That would mean that animals get stuck between worlds too and that they too have a heaven, of course that is if you believe ghosts are souls with unfinished business.

I think they are people with unfinished business. And I've met both good and bad ghosts. Even ghosts of little kids, I attract them, even go looking for them. ;D

this should be an interesting thread. this is my opinion: I think that people 'live' after life. if they have a relationship with God, they go to heaven, if they don't, they go to hell. now, in heaven, you have eternal life. in hell, you still live eternally, but I guess it's like in eternal torture. there are some people out there who believe they can talk to people after they're dead aka mediums. they might be talking to someone from 'the other side' but they are most probably communicating with demons or evil supernatural beings.

ah, another ghost lover....
Haven't met many myself, but I don't think ghost hunting is my specialty. I guess I just have other talents...coughanimalscoughcough.
I've been fascinated with the paranormal ever since I was little though. I don't know why, but I've studied everything from aliens to ghosts and back again. hehe.

I'm from NJ. There is a great website and magazine for NJsians. It's called "Weird NJ" or something like that. There are actaully a ton of places to visit around here that I never knew about. There is one place I pass almost constantly and I always got a strange feeling when passing that street. In the story I read about it, it says the lake along that street often has fog rising from it, even when it is impossible for there to be fog. Well, after reading that story, when I pass by that street I often see fog going down that road, but no where else. THe name of the road: Shades of Death

I SWEAR we have UFOs here!! lol! I saw this weird green light in the sky, then it changed to a yellow. It was near where the planes go, but it just hovered there and there was only one light, not the red and green like there usually are. It also kind of turned around and started going the other way. It probably was just a weird plane, but It could've fooled anyone that it was a UFO! hehehe
I also have had to babysit in this really old farm house where strange things always happen. A lot of times the floor creaks and I always think it is the kids, but when I go upstairs, they are sound asleep. One time when my brother was at the house, he said there was this door that kept creaking open. He had to put something in front of it to stop it from opening. Scarything is the door was a basement door and there was no wind or anything. It's so creepy to be there all alone at night. It's somewhat comforting having the dog there, but when an animal just goes off and stares intently into space, it scares the heeby jeebies out of me.

My door opens too, but it is opened by my cat. I cannot tell you how many times she has freaked me out by opening the door in the middle of the night!

lol, I couldn't live without my cat! She is one of my most dear friends and a close family member. The other cat (my brother's) doesn't like me. All is well though, my cat hates everyone else in the family. hehehe.
If you think cat's eyes are scarey, you should see goat's eyes. They are like a a sideways pupil instead of up and down like a cat's. I also have a chicken with weird eyes like that.
