Dear MEI.
I really miss you.
I miss posting, I miss being weird, I miss randomness (I know, that's my fault), and I miss RPing here. I miss freaking out and yelling at people because they were annoying me about once a month.
But, face it, unless a few more of us come back to posting at least once a week... we're gonna die.
So, I propose this for making things smaller.
Let's merge the RPs. It'll involve a bit of work, but we can keep our characters in all the universes, and we can have some explanation about cross galaxtic stuff and crazy plots going on. We won't lose any of the old posts, as those planets will still be there. It'll just be one big happy universe. It'll make things way harder. Though, I don't know... yeah. It'll make things easier if we put the NR RPG into the archives and merge the Narnia, OR and FF ones into one... dunno. It fits our crazy feel, anyway, and we can therefore really have a "free for all" RPG, if it's open to any universe's threads...
As well, MEI needs a shiny main skin. I'm just concerned that any one that uses coding will ruin the looks of the other skins. How much do we want to look professional? XD. Personally, I want a phpBB forum so much more now. But that's just me, probably.
And, uh... yeah.
I want MEI to be so much easier to deal with. Ugh.
Okay, I'm done ranting, what does everyone think about the RPs, give me opinions, do you think they can be resurrected--would it be WORTH it to resurrect it? Hm?

I say archive the NR one indeed. OR...it would be nice to keep that separate, but only if old members came back. Perhaps put out a casting call and we can 'reload' it: Tweak the plot so it's more serious and more intriguing, and old members can keep their characters if they want (*hugs Xaria* I miss her...) or new people can make new ones.
I don't know how FF is going, and Narnia seems to have stopped, so merging them into a crazy randomnessfest sounds good. We could have two main RPs, the serious SW and the silly cross-universe.
Just suggestions.

Only if Chevrast could warp from NR to OR and I could obliterate Jendana..... pbbtth. Otherwise, it sounds clever enough to maybe work.
Confusion would definitely reign, for a while.... which is good. Everyone should be confused, every now and again.
On second thought, there'd probably need to be, like Cy said, a bit of sanity (with serious RP capability) as most of the characters that we've had going have been geared towards a more serious style of role-play. That might not matter for some people, and I suppose that the few characters that can't be anything but serious could be so overly serious as to be... spoofy? Dunno how that'd work, or if my ramblings are coherent at all, but that's my thought for today....

Jandalf remarked on that as well... lol... this is what you're misinterpeting: Crossover does not mean spoofy. Our characters can remain exactly as they are (or we can change them... I don't want Taania anymore, maybe I'll make Raiyn on here) and it won't hurt. Because merging them's going to happen in the universe too. It'll be a sort of "the borders between worlds have been shattered". Our characters can deal with the opening into a new world as they would if it actually happened, I think. And, I agree, a serious RP would be nice still... but...  Not enough people to really even do a less serious one. |

Fear not, for I shalt savith ME:I!!!! Well, maybe I'm not that powerful, but I can try.
I haven't been on here since, like, September, because of stuff... yes, stuff. I'll PM Tiana about this stuff.
There have just been things that have made me not want to come on. Things that are not what ME:I used to be when I joined. I could trust most everyone. But now in people's sigs and things like that (I won't specifically say who) there are things ASKING for death. Maybe when peeps ask for death it will come, as it is beginning to come on ME:I. Just be happy frolicking people whom everyone can trust like we once were before, members of ME:I!!!

Happy, frolicky stuff is boring. No offence, Barns, but in RP, that really IS boring. (rolls eyes) The only RP site I'm active on, I'm playing a Sith (neutral one, but still), and being all creepy.
Reality just isn't happy. Oh well.
ANYWAY.
I need help with the RPs. Roughly, I'm going to make a new board. I'll have a fast computer over the weekend, so I'm going to do all this stuff then, because I won't have my normal delays. Your character sheets will remain. You can pick whatever characters you prefer using from any of the RPs if you have some already made and keep them. I'll make a thread for character sheets again when I do this, and everyone can post the sheets they're keeping in there.
I'm going to need people to control the "hand of fate" alias again... umm... what else...
Basically, I'm going to have an intergalactic mergal. I will come up with an explanation for this, perhaps... or perhaps not... the old threads will be kept... new stuff should be posted on what types of characters you can play... we can edit our sheets to fit the new stuff. I just want and NEED people to tell me what they want!
These are the facts.
1) Due to something, the border between worlds will be torn open and they can be reached from simple spacetravel or teleportation, or whatever suits your character.
2) We will be retaining the seperate threads for planets manner of RPing. There will just be more threads.
3) The character sheet for NEW characters will be a bit more expansive, with optional slots for intergalactic characters.
4) We will probably be jumping ahead in time about 2 years or so to get some history and scary stuff going on.
5) Character types from most universes AND timelines are acceptable. I will post up a list of what is acceptable.
6) Powers will be extended to include the Force, mutations, elemental magic... yeah. Cross-canon stuff.
7) Probably the OR, the Narnia, and FF RPs will be in the mergal. I think we will keep the NR one serious and seperate. Then added will definately be LotR, PotC, and probably X-Men and other stuff like that...
8) I'll need villains. ^_^

Sounds like a good plan. DUN WROTE HER FIRST VILLAIN EVER, YESTERDAY!!! Woohoo!!! Hopefully that'll exploderize the wall that's been in the way of my progress, but whatever. Now I can write villains. *grins*

The only really villainous person I ever wrote went lightside on me. Well, I guess I have another, but he doesn't really count as being written yet. And he only exists because you can't really have the plot that I'm writing without a villain. *sigh* If only, if only...
And, yes, when? I'm missing RP dreadfully...
