//You might not end up killing him. The plot is a convulted thing, my apprentice-to-be, perhaps it will be that he yet lives on...//
"If you're so powerful," Myth retorted, "use the force and achieve a mindlink, girl. Unless you can come up with words enough to convince me otherwise that I should remain here for a couple more hours and let the jedi know where I am." The twi'lek folded her arms. "Otherwise, we make the jump for Coruscant. Now."

<<Echo, I'd say put the random conversation somewhere else...though that music is awesome."The Plot is a convoluted thing...">>
Xaria just glared at Myth for a moment, but Jedi calm suprisingly and gratefully won over making any arguement. Myth made sense--waiting around would be an invitation for her side to lose all their advantage. "Wait a moment, and I'll give you your mindlink." I hope... And Xaria put her head up, set a hand against the wall and thought outward into the currents of the Force, searching without pattern or randomness... Master Eisley I need help. I need to find out whether I will do any good staying here...I need to be picked up to warn the temple...about Tiana's loss with Raze. She wasn't sure all of that got through. But she tried...and then met the Twi'lek's eyes again. "Alright, I have my backup, where is yours? What is the purpose of finding this Lathania?" Talk was never her strong point. But anything to stall, and even if the Twi'lek didn't fall for it maybe Cluge would...and she could tall him to be careful. Not two loses I could have prevented.

Gari laughed a little, hoping not to offend, knowing she would take it right. "I can teach you a little if you want. The Jedi--" Master Eisley need help... I will do any...warn the temple...Tiana with Raze... There were images, and then the complete message came through, like the final tuning of an old fasioned commchannel. That snap, that was the best part...Gari shook his head, the message commited to memory. It hadn't been for him, but close. "I think the Twi'lek you came with, she's being called by someone. Some alien...wierd sense she's got. Do you understand this?" And he repeated the message.

Tiana? Who is Raze?
"Raze... Raze must be the Sith..." Jend shook her head. Why is Tiana with the Sith? And where are Echo and the others? "The message must have come from Xaria." She stood up and ran her fingers through her hair. "Tiana is my Master, Gari." She picked up the staff from it's corner and gripped it tightly. "I think it's time to go talk to Eisley."

o O (I'm upset . . . too upset for words. I just typed out this uber long passage and my stupid compy deleted it. Argh!! Oh well . . . here's another shot.) Eisley had not moved from her position on the steps for some time when the message came through. It was garbled and she only received what were hopefully the most important parts. Master Eisley need help... I will do any...warn the temple...Taania with Raze The words had Xaria's Force Signature all over them. She stood and strode into the house. "Jendana! Pack your things." The Twi'lek rapped on the girls door interrupting whatever converstion she was having with her brother. "We're leaving as soon as you're ready." Back in the guest room Eisley quickly gathered her belongings, few though they were. Leaning her head against the cool wall she did her best to regain the feeble connection that had been almost lost. Xaria, if you can hear me stay where you are. Jend and I will be there as soon as possible. Fill me in on the details when I arrive. Stay safe and may the Force be with you. She sighed and walked down the hall looking for Jend.

((Great reinforcements!))
Master... Warn them.... Taania... Raze... Cluge, being less trained only caught shards of the converstaion, then a reply came. Xaria... stay....Jend... coming... Stay safe..... Cluge tried to piece these together, then realized something. It's a trap.

((Argh. And I was doing so well... *smacks head* I must have fingers-hitting-the-wrong-keys-syndrome. Oh, one more thing. Gari isn't Jend's brother -- that would be Kayden, who is in Tattooine. Unless I'm really confused....))
Jend already had a pack slung over her shoulder and her staff in her hands when the knock came, and she was jumpy enough that she almost dropped it. Calm. You're worthless if you're not calm enough to think. The air in the small room seemed colder than usual, and she shivered involuntarily.
She turned to her friend and put her hand on his arm. "I have to go, Gari. Eisley may know what's going on, and, if she doesn't, is sure to find out soon. I have to know what's happened to my Master." Jend turned away and pushed the door open. Curse.... I have to find Rhis.

This Taania is Jend's Master? That means.. Gari hurried over to the door, holding on to Jend's hand. "I want to come with you. If I'm gone a day no one'll care. Please!" He knew that he could be more use than he was here spending time with Jedi...and it was going to be just a day. Just some time to get to wherever this signal was coming from...this hemisphere.

Stay here, huh? With Myth? I have a bad feeling about this. Xaria didn't know how much Myth had heard, or what she would do about even a peaceful meeting and leaving of the Jedi. It was easy to remember how complications like this could leave a being itching for something to kill, because it was so much easier. The dark side is always easier. To deal with, to fall in love with... But where did anyone get by only ever doing things that were easy? "Cluge." The Zabrak called quietly. "It's your choice wether you stay or go." Then she looked to Myth. "You won't have to wait long." Xaria sat beside Cluge, pooling her physical strength, watching everything but Myth. Whatever happened, happened. Maybe Myth wasn't that kind of dark-sider. She certainly was finding out that there was more than one sort. //Hurry, Master.//

oO (Echo once you read this you will be dead. Do you hear me? Dead!! *takes deep breath to calm down* Okay. And Dun I-myself knows that fact but I-Eisley does not ) Eisley motioned for Jendana to follow but stopped when she saw Gari trailing behind her. "Child, your brother cannot come with us. If he is hurt I will be the one to blame and I do not think appearing before the Council for murder will help any of us." She sighed and checked her comlink. "Do you remember how to get to the landing pad? I'm quite lost." She smiled a bit, hoping the girl would show a friendly side.

((How can I be dead if i'm typing this? Oh, well.))
Cluge looked over to Xaria. "It is dishonorable to run from a fight," he said, then leaned in closer an whispered," Plus she is the only way I can find and bring my Mother back... return he to the light. I can't leave now." The Tusken was already formulating a plan. His limited control of the force was returing. If that switch can be thrown, it will launch the cockpit into space. I'd hate to leave the others, But once Master Eisley arrives, She'll never approve. "Xaria, when the time comes, fall back." This might be the last time I see another Jedi alive, but it'll be the risk I need to take.

((That's sorta what I thought.. just covering all my bases.))
Jend glanced behind her. Brother? She must mean Gari. That's right, I remember now. "Yes, about that. You shot out of the room before I could clear that up. Gari's not my brother. Besides, I don't know that he would stay behind, even if I told him to." She remembered Rhis at that moment, and ran the hand not holding onto her staff through her hair. "Can this possibly wait a moment? I'm as anxious to get out of here as you, but I need to tell someone that we've left." Her eyes brightened. "Wait. Gari, can you take Master Eisley to the landing pad? I'll meet you there as quickly as possible. That way, we'll lose less time."

"Alright. I'll wait with you as long as I can. Untill the time comes." Xaria settled with her elbows on her knees, and breathed counts of five that relaxed strained mental and physical muscles.

Gari immediatly took the advice, knowing that this was the only way he could see to go with them...and absolutely burning to do so. He looked at the Twi'lek. "Master Jedi, the landing pad's down this hall." He began to walk, watching the older Jedi. Maybe she knew news of the temple? His ligthknife was back in his belt loop, and memories of training were coming back quicker than they ever had in after-school practices in the presense of another Jedi. But what to talk about? This woman had deep eyes. "Your Padawan's a distance away. You've got a fast ship?"

//too tired to change users. I'll try to turn you Anakin-style, Cluge. Play with the weakness...//
Myth turned her gaze to Cluge. "You know that if the jedi come here, they will destroy me," she whispered hoarsely. "You know that without me, you'll never find your mother and save her." She had heard the mental communication, knew how to use it against them. [Launch the ship into hyperspace, Cluge. Leave the jedi behind,] she sent mentally, careful so that it wouldn't leak and be understood by the others. [Take us away from here. Only I can help you find her, and they will see me as too dangerous to be left alive. You know this to be true.]
Myth had decided already. If he wanted the jedi to come, she would let them come. The sith knew how to vanish if the need was there...
