I did NOT get accepted to the state University. they told me to go to the local branch, which is community college style, get A's in 6 courses there, and then transfer. HOMESCHOOLER BIASED !!!! This school is like, impossible NOT to get in. Here is what my friend said upon hearing that I miraculously did NOT get accepted: "unh rejected you? why? who drugged the admissions officer?" Oy.....
However......
I got a letter from a college that I didn't even know existed, saying that based on my GPA and SATs, they would like me to apply. They also said the odds for me getting a good sized scholarship are quite good. The school is near the ocean (YESSSSSSSSSSSS) in Southern Maine, close to the state border, small, liberal arts... and has ALL THE MAJORS I WANTED. It's cheaper than Williams..... And closer than Williams... and more near water than Williams... ... And it wants me...

Thanks guys! I have checked out that school - University of New England. Has a 5 year, highly accredited Occupational Therapy program that is almost completely hands-on, a minor in creative and fine arts, women's dorms, the dining hall sounds REALLY good, it's 2 hours from home, and oh, yes, did I mention WOMEN'S DORMS? *parties* That fee-waivered application is going in the mail come next week... and I should know within 2 weeks after that... Well, if it's what God wants, I will end up there. It seems like it is. ^.^ That is going in the archives of quoteness. Oh yeah... I totally agree, they want to dumb me down. Which is fine, they don't want me, totally their loss. Wes: Like cha. Comm: -.^ Thanks, Ali. This school (UNH) is notoriously homeschooler unfriendly. Someone I know has a daughter who was homeschooled and applied there, and was rejected. However, she got into Smith, a very high class women's college. I have muchly much much hope. Other random news: I'll be singing the national anthem at the opening session of the state house sometime this month... total weirdness, a Rep heard me singing in church last month and thn talked to dad and asked if I'd be interested, and *BAM*, next thing you know... This is going to be soooo freaky. Activities day is coming up, wooo! ROBOTICS TOURNEY THIS WEEKEND!!! W000T!! Say a prayer tonite for the people down south, especially the teens and teachers from that high school that was demolished. G'night all. Thanks for the cheers.
