Okay, Eowyn Skywalker *coughpleasedontdosomethingnonPGtomecough* told us to take the talk of cakes out of the Hello part 3 section, so I have created a home for it, just to see how long it lasts!
Odd, I know, but I AM curious...
Okay, what would happen if Sauron showed up at Disneyland with a large vanilla cake and shoved it in Jack Sparrow's face while he was riding the tea cup ride?

Okay, let's keep this one on the topic of cakes... and see exactly HOW long it'll last....
I'm posting a recepe, mainly because almost every time I chat with Jandalf, I'm cooking, and I thought maybe she, and the rest of you would like to know EXACTLY what it is that I've been making...
This is my Banana/Chocolate Cake... it REALLY does work!!!
1 cup of butter 1 1/2 cups of sugar... white or brown, doesn't matter 4 eggs, medium sized, methinks 2 tps of baking soda 8 tbsp of boiling water... or at least rather hot water Around 2 cups of bananas 4 tsp of baking powder 4 cups of flour, give or take
Soften the butter in the microwave, and DON'T MELT IT! Trust me here... be careful. Then, pull out the beater thinger, or a fork, and cream it, which means beating it until it's smooth. Add the sugar, and beat it some more, and then, while you're at it, add the eggs, and beat it even MORE! While you're beating it even MORE, stick the baking soda into the boiling water, but DON'T put the baking powder in... just the soda. If you've done this in a measuring cup, which I recomand, then put the bananas in... (They should be blackish), and then take your beater, and beat this. Be careful, it'll spit, and spin all over the place, so hold it, and wear an apron. Put the baking powder into the butter mix, and beat it in. Add some of the banana mush, and beat THAT in. Add three cups of flour, and the banana mush alternatally, and then pull out another bowl. Put a bit less than half of the cake batter into the bowl, and add the rest of the flour to the original batter, and beat that in. If it's too thick, add a bit of milk, this recipe is suppose to be thicker. To the other stuff, add around 4 tbsp of coco powder, and beat that in.
Put the whitish cake batter into a greased 9x13 (or so) pan, and then pour the chocolate stuff in over top in random blobs. Take a knife, and twist it around, and spread it like a marble cake, so that there's random chocolate in it.
Put it in the oven, and set it for 30-40 minutes, or so, on 350, and keep an eye on it. When the timer rings, take out oven mitts, and take the cake out. Use a toothpick to test it... if the toothpick comes out clean, your cake is done!!!!! Also, if, by this time, the cake has turned black, it is well done... hopefully you like burn! Giggle.
There, I have added to this thread... if you try out the recepe, tell me how it turns out!

*cowers in corner* I wasn't quoting you sarcastically, Eowyn Skywalker, I was merely telling why I began a thread about cake! Sorry if it did sound sarcastic though, and know that I didn't mean it that way! And what makes you think that I would EVER go beyond PG?
And I will try your cake recipe, although I have little or no baking skills... *snicker* Wait until mom gets home and finds flour all over everything, including myself...
Hmm... what CAN I bake... I can do those Pillsbury Dough Boy cookies that you break off from the (already mixed and packaged) roll and plop on a cookie sheet and put in the oven for about 9 - 11 minutes! That cookie dough is actually REALLY good, and I sometimes give myself a stomach ache eating it on the sly...
I really need to take a cooking class...

Heehee...I made the fudge brownies for one of my classes because today was the last day of school. They were MUCH appreciated by my teacher...
Must get recipe on...

Hey, Warious, you want a smiley? Many of us mods have smileys... you'll need one, I think. Sorry, of topic... sigh.
Cake is good... chocolate.... hmmmmmm...

I can make KD and brownies, oh yes and fudge? is that the same? of course it always results in dishes I like cake...one time at camp I got kicked out of the kitchen for re-enacting the lord of the rings you know the watcher. Yeah then I called my leader Agent Smith and wouldn't associate with her. They got mad and sent me to the camp leader and she was really scary and I called her Saruman. Things I do never go down to well with people of a higher office than me. oh well

I am not supposed to have coffee but they didn't know that... so I did. I really didn't like them, no electricity at this bloody place, so was stuck in freezing cold, with lack of LOTR and SW and matrix. I get very un-happy with out them. OH man in stepford wives they mentions a) star wars with the whole amidala boba fett thing b) Orlando and Viggo soo entertaining.
