In a nutshell?
-No double posting. -No flaming, trolling, insulting, threatening people, or cybering -No bad language (we have censors for direct bad words and trying to get around them will invoke a tempa-banning) -No other languageness unless translated.
Pointlessness, meaninglessness, and one word posts ARE acceptable here, the latter in moderation. There are no moderators to this board at present, but if things get too out of hand, that WILL change. RPing is fine.
This thread may be edited, but simply remember that MEI has conduct rules. Follow them.

Nothing is meaninless if it exists...it's now affected our lengthy lives. Should 'random comments' be moved to here? Almost anything can be considered to be meaningless from someone's point of view... *is irritated* Is there a way to get my post to stop after my writing and not have the big white space of infinity? Sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not. *feels dumb*

Whee! The new board you were talking about!
I think the space is taken care of if the writing extends down a certain length... Your avatar, caption, and personal info on the left side always makes the post at least that long so it doesn't all get mashed together, eh?
So if you space things out...
Kind of like this...
It tends to work all right...
Now I'll post and see if it worked.
EDIT: Yay, it worked!

Well... according to Ecclesiastes, all is meaningless, but whatever. (grins) I didn't want to steal Jedi.net's name and call it Bantha Poodoo. Snrk.
The random comments thread is a game, more or less...
I'm tempted to set it so posts in this board don't apply to your post count, but that's no fun, is it? Snrk.

"Vanity, vanity," says the Preacher. "All is vanity!"
Or something very close to that. I haven't my Bible with me. But basically, the entire book of Ecclesiastes is lamenting the futility of life...

'Tis Meaningless. Solomon was feeling angsty, and decided that everything he'd been doing to make himself feel good was completely.... well, meaningless. So he spends about six chapters talking about it.
The book of Ecclesiastes, in a nutshell. *snrk*

Actually, in the KJV, it's vanity of vanities, and stuff. Those translations DO change.

I am quite fond of Ecclesiastes. Isn't that how you spell it? That way it's got 'Eccles' in it.
But it is a nice chapter. Angsty, and therefore truthful.
And not meaningless.
Is this a paradox?
