And you need to know that such things aren't said on this site. It's a sign of maturity when someone doesn't like cleaveage; not a sign that they're a baby. I don't mean to pick on you, but you need to be really careful about what you say on this site. We don't tolerate certain things... G-mod has spoken...

UGH! Soul Calibur II! One of the best games ever...soiled by some of the most immodest costumes in VGs. Actually, it adds a bit of relief when you totally pulverise one said character with Link. Illiminates any pity you'd have for the character if they were modest. Of course, for most of those characters, I'd have no pity. Those girls are toooooooo annoying in general. Cept maybe Talim... Actually, OoT and MM aren't exactly guilt-free on this matter. The Great Fairy for example. *shudders* I just turn the TV off and press A repeatedly. Woorks for me. Impa isn't so modest either. Adult Ruto....gagness. And Sheik's clothes...well, considering who Sheik is, it isn't so great. Hopefully the New Zelda is free of such things. Caffinerush, for a randomized sig click here. If that doesn't help, you can PM me.

Ooo.. a fellow Talim-liker.... Link is fun, as well. The rolly-kicky move... I spent the whole of an hour perfecting that. Yup.
I don't really see why they have to wear so little clothing. You think you could fight better, and not be as cold, if you wore more clothes. *shrugs* More protection, as well. I never really understood that fact.
*snicker* My dad won't let my brother play with Ivy unless she's wearing the whole suit-thing. I laugh every time...

EWWWWW! Your brother would WANT to play as Ivy? I dispise her...
What's really disturbing are moves such as Sophitia's (sorry for spelling). The one where she embraces her foe then chops his neck...*shudders* And some of those moves don't have very pleasent names. And then there's disturbing sayings of Cassandra's like "You're definently not my type." It can be kinda humorous at times...like when she's fighting herself or another girl.
The only reason I bought that game was for Link. Then they announce that not only is the game not going to have any camio characters, but it's only on PS2. It sold best on the GCN. There's no logic in that move...
My fave moves for Link are the spin attack (when done correctly), all his grabs (the Epona-esque move is quite disturbing though), and some of hi more complicated slashes. I spent HOURS learning all his moves...much like I did on Melee to try and perfect things like mid-air item grabs, combos, and shield reflects. Though the last one is nearly impossible for humans...stupid level 9 computer players...

I know all of Talim's moves by heart... and I finally learned how to block. It took me forever, because she's just awful. My only problem is jumping myself right off the stages... which is usually the only way I die. I'm not generally very good at Video games, so that's pretty impressive, if I say so myself. My brother won't play with me anymore... heh.
We spent a looooong time trying to learn the more complex of Ivy's moves. She's quite good when you know how to use her... and frightening. She's good when you're fighting slower characters, and you can use all of her range attacks. I've almost mastered all of hers, but they're so dzang hard. *sigh*
I hate Cassandra. Stupid cheerleeder and her stupid cheater sword. I hate her. She's the only character my brother can come close to beating me with. Her and Valkyrie. Dzang, I hate that sword.

I second that movement on all members with very very bad grammer! My mom was complaining that she couldn't read Tahiri's posts... *snrk* Please, people, if you don't know how to capitlize, change your posts from chat grammer, you don't belong on a forum, you belong in a chatroom. I don't mind non-capitalized sentences, but using periods, commas, quote marks, and some of those English lessons you HAD to have taken in school really makes a post easier to read, and less likely to be deleted... not that I'd do that, I'd just edit it. JANDALF would delete it. *rolls eyes* There's a thread for grammer help in the general board. Go and check it out some time. There is also a site called www.spellcheck.net. Use it. You're not picking on him, that was more polite than I would've been, Adrienne. *grins* Showing a LITTLE bit of cleavage is ONE thing, showing enough to make you wonder what's holding their dress up IS COMPLETELY ANOTHER! If you want to see cleavage, go and get married so you can stare at your wife. Some things are not tollerated on this site, and bashing another member for expressing belief that the costumes in video games are too immodest is not one of those things. I'd put a warning on you now, but I won't yet. I'm unfortunately too nice. Any more incidences with flaming or insulting such belief will not be taken lightly, mind you. TO EVERYONE: First offence gets a warning in your PT. Second offence gets a temorary banning. Third offence gets deletion and IP address banned. Admin has spoken. *bows and leaves the thread gracefully and otherwise elegently*

if you know anything about combat you realize how dead--and more likely bruised--people wearing such costumes as are in some VGs would be...therefore it just makes me laugh.

One of the reasons I love the addition of chain mail on Link. It'll make it much more believeable that he can get hit with a blade and live.
What I'd like to see in Zelda is a more detailed damage system. Not technically for Link, but for the enemies. Attack and enemy with a thrust/stab, and it actually goes through the enemy. Attack it's head with a chop and bye bye head (though likely, that won't happen anytime soon...too violent). Attack something's legs and it falls to the ground. etc.
I'd like to see how difficult the enemies are going to be though...maybe Zelda will finally get truly strong enemies. The hardest enemy I can think of were the Wizrobes in the origonal Zelda. Those things were too strong...

I've gotta say I agree with you on the modesty issue MFB, Dun, and all the rest.
In SC2 I always change Taki's costume to the most modest, same with Ivy, but I don't get super offended.
And MFB, how can you not love Link's Epona move?! I laughed my butt off when I saw that. I was all "Giddyup little doggies!". But my favorite move is his roll and smack grab.
Luckily I don't have to worry about modesty with the characters I use: Cervantas, Yoshimitsu, and Nightmare (Wooo Knightmare!).
And the new Zelda is going to be awsome. Personally I think the OoT faries were a little much, thats why I liked the Great faries in TWW. Imp was fine modesty wise in my opinion , Naburoo had one of my favorite costumes, Ruto: Gag-ness. But Sheik? Come on, that wasn't bad, just some spandex, its not like we complain about Spiderman's outfit. Hehehe, sorry but Shiek is my favorite characters (especially in Melee).
And to finish my post off I've heard that one of the first games created for the Nintedo Revolution is going to be a Zelda game, pending creation time. That'll be so awesome! *head explodes from anticipation*

Referring WAAAY back to what Adrienne and Tiana were saying, I'd just like to thank you guys for the way you run this forum. I have seen a lot of sites that wouldn't even have caught that. Thanks, because it makes me so comfortable here... *feels sappy and appreciative*

Yes, that's what I like about this site too. Its not conforming to the way the internet is going, which is downhill, fast.
Faust, I also heard the next Super Smash Bros is going to be a release title on the Revolution.*wishes very much for Revolution to come out sooner*
*sighs* I want very much to delete all of shadowsaber's posts...

A lot's getting like that... there's some annoying girl chars, the baddie in Jedi Knight, in Star Wars games, but not much. Yep, Zelda: the Twilight Princess will be on Revolution...or is it coming out before Revolution? November.
