//(Deadly tone, HK-droid model voice) Mild threat: Edit the above post from the momentary error in your OOC comment. Master.
Ive been playing kotor too much for that statement...//
A quick movement of her wrist. Shadow appeared to go on to another stack, this time of a more complex breather series, a lot more like the jedi's-- there were less of them-- but at the same time palmed a small comm device that had been misplaced. It had some strange markings on it.
She turned her gaze back over to her 'slave', and briefly smiled viciously. Shadow had no doubt he would be able to get her locator. But she still didn't completely trust the jedi master. Why would she?
Picking up the rebreather, she walked back voer and set it down. "Get an asessment for this too," she ordered.

OOM-9 jumped off a tree. He was still getting used to his cool new built-in stuff. Like, for instance, his anti-grav boosters and clamps on his arms and legs, his liquid grappling hook, and his enhanced radar system. Satisfyed that all of them worked, he headed back to the nearest spaceport. He thought it was strange for a spaceport to be on such a law-forsaken planet. He had heard the Jedi avoided this plantet, at all costs, so he decided that it was up to him to make sure there was no illegal dealings here. He entered the city, and looked around. He noticed someone trying to steal a small engine part. "Well, well, well. Looks like a job for...Arachno-droid." ((OOC: OK, OK, it's cheesy, but he's slightly not in his right mind, here. He's a battle droid for crying out loud!)) OOM-9 jumped onto a building, and began to pursue the theif. He jumped back onto the street in front of him. He launched his grapple cord, and wrapped ti around the theif, and hung him between two buildings. Then he went off around the corner, to continue searching for someone else.

((Slip of mind. I suppose I'm seeing Mirrors too much. *grins* Heh.))
A breathing device? he wondered. Does she expect to go swimming?
Oh, well...no matter. I suppose I'll find out soon enough. Might not bode well, though. He was becoming a little uneasy about her demeanour. I hope it's just my imagination.
He pushed the two items forward on the counter expectantly, with a glance at the Twi'lek standing there.

X'riea looked over the items and then up at the human before her. "Hmm. Who are you and why should I sell these things to you?" Her eyes were suspcious. Good looking man. Too bad he was a slave. Or more likely a Jedi. She grunted as she noticed his robes tattered though they were were definitely recognizable of the Order. "I have no wish to do business with you. But if you want to know I'll give you the lot for 247 credits. Sound good to you or would you like to try your luck elsewhere?"
o O (Sorry guys been uber busy with . . . .well life . . . and chickens that are suicidal. Ask me later0

((...Suicidal chickens? Sounds interesting. Just a note--X'reia would have had to be extremely well-informed if she'd tag Elachi's clothing to the Jedi. Their outfits do vary a lot, besides the fact that he stripped down to a simple tunic and trousers. Just to let you know.))
"Two hundred forty-seven?" Elachi murmured, thinking he was possibly recognising a sort of go away if you're a wimp at bartering, but stay otherwise attitude. He'd seen it before, anyway. "The rebreather couldn't possibly go for much more than fifty, and as for this locator...seventy-five. At the most.

o O (Yeah we started out with chickens now we only have -definitely suic idal. Yes I know-t'will be explained in future)
X'riea glared at him. "125?! I can't give these things away you understand. They cost me more than they will cost you even at such a discount price as I am prepared to offer. " She stopped and considered the objects on the counter for a moment. "I can afford to sell them to you for 167 no less." First rule of business-never deal in predictable amounts.

Elachi glanced back down at the items for a moment. "I'll be generous and raise it to one-fifty. I really should be going."

X'riea shrugged. "Fine 150 it is. I'll take the money now." Her eyes shifted to the woman in the corner. "She you're Master? I don't deal with slaves." She pulled the pieces of equipment off the counter and shoved them into and unseen container.

///Not that it really matters now. (grin) As Shadow technically no longer exists as a Mirror. Is dead...///
Shadow drew her lightsaber calmly, and flicked the dark crimson blade on-- she carried two lightsabers, and the red beamed one was for moments like this. Holding it perpenditcular to the ground, so it was neither pointed at the Twi'lek or herself, she said evenly, "You deal with slaves when they're the slave to a sith."

((Heh...well...OH, WELL... *grins* She got cloned!!! *snickers*)) Elachi kept his expression carefully neutral, meekly guarded. Well. That's a way to get business done. At least we've gotten a fairly good deal. He waited (with a fair amount of interest, admittedly) for a response from the store owner.

o O (Wow . . . . glad I don't know that guy/crazy person)
X'riea smiled slyly. "Nice to see you again Mistress." She placed the locator and rebreather back on the counter. "I have that piece you ordered last time, and you're going to need another rebreather." The Tw'ilek turned and placed a small pyramid shaped object beside the other pieces of equipment. "This was very difficult to obtain so I'm going to have to raise the price that I originally quoted you." Her bright eyes glittered with greed. "Are you going to need someone to help with your repairs??"

((I just liked it for the appearance of Darth Malak...heh. And the expression on his face.))
Elachi glanced back at Lania, wondering if he should have told her earlier on that he was indeed competent with ship repair. Perhaps it's too late, now. Irking the store owner might make her less pliable to bartering. I'd better keep quiet.

//Malak amuses me. Wonder if I can find that other comic with HK-47.//
Well, two can play at that game, she thought.
Shadow gave the store manager a flat and vicious stare. "I will not raise any more than... say... 327 decicreds. If you include the crystal I also requested last time." She smirked slightly. "And negative on aid, girl-- my slave is perfectly competent." ]I'll just hope he is, or else I'll be stuck working with a hydrospanner for a while.

X'riea's smile widened and she turned for a moment and held out the crystal. "So that brings your total up to 500 if you include the extra rebreather. Will you be needing my services for your repairs??" She had purposefully messed up on the arithmetic knowing Shadow would catch it and make her lower the price a bit but not too much

"483," Shadow said evenly, pulling out the transfer card. "And I told you, myself and my slave will be perfectly well off repairing my ship ourselves." She stared hard at the purple-skined Twi'lek, eyes boring a hole into her face with the slip back into the Sith personel. "Do you have any problems with that?"

X'riea shrugged. "I suppose not." She took the transfer card and swiped it quickly. "THank you for your business M'Lady. And if you ever have need to sell your slave I will be more than willing to take him off your hands." She sent a suggestive leer in his direction and slid the purchases across the counter.

((*cackles* Yup. Some like 'em hot, some like 'em cold. Some like 'em in a pot, thirty years old.))
The fine hair on the nape of Elachi's neck raised in distaste, a feeling he was careful to keep from appearing on his face, and he started to rather like the idea, really, of heading back out the door. Favourably as soon as possible.

//kk what the heck was your first object that lania's now bought?? This amuses me...//
Lania-- Shadow-- narrowed her eyes, looked like she might almost consider the offer for a second or three. Then she smirked. "It's a hard thing to come across a slave as talented as he is. I'll keep him, thank you, and if I ever need to dispose of him--" She tapped her lightsaber meaningfully. "Unless you desire a corpse, 'fraid he's mine til the end."
She glared at Elachi, not without humor within at having to boss him around. It was remarkably amusing, considering he could've killed her already. "Take my packages and come along."

o O (I dunno. Thought I was just here to sell you the stuff and plant the object . . . Maybe I'll follow you guys around a bit who knows)
X'riea nodded. "Aah well a corpse doesn't do anyone much good. Except of course for the bone buyers but I have no connections to them." She propped her chin on her hand and watched them go. "Oh well. Another day, another credit."
