Hey, and welcome to the random island in the middle of nowhere. Now, this might be a random island in uncharted seas, but that doesn't stop people from coming in to have a jolly good 'ol time in these seas. So come on in, find yourself some rum (But not in front of the ladies... or they may burn it...) Have a pint or three. There's plenty for all on this random island of Nowhere Important. (Thanks to Jandalf the Orange of fanfiction.net for the name... you don't mind me using it?) And this, my friends, is where all the rum went!
(OOC: I'm not writing the first post, someone else can for me. I have no ideas...)
This is the free realm of RPGing, so come on down, and POTC RPG here, on the random Island of Nowhere Important! -Jill Sparrow, until I get a better name.

Cpt. Anne Roberts* pushed her way through the undergrowth of the island and made her way to the bonfire Cpt. Jack Sparrow and others had lit.
"Jack, I've gone over this island and I found...."
[OOC: Because I can't think of anything, I'm stopping it here. I just thought I might try to start the ball rolling.
* Cpt. Anne Roberts of the Siren - actually the Siren might have a prefix but I've forgotten it over the long time I've not read the rest of 'What the Morning Brings'**.
** This is a story on fanfic.net (http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=1542490) by Kiare, out of whose mind La Zorra (The Fox) - or Captain Anne Roberts, if you will - was created. Very good. Go read it.]

(OOC: That story is R, in case you were wondering...)
"What did you find...? WHAT????" shouted Jack. "...must... have... rum..."
Another random pirate rolled his eyes. "No rum for you, mate."
"But I'm Captain Jack Sparrow. Savvy?" Jack pulled out his gun, and shook it around. "Ah, out of bullets."
Anne shook her head. "I found a map."
All the pirates (Plus Will, and Elizabeth.) jumped up. "A map! Where! Leading to what?!"
"That's just it. I don't know," she said.
"Well, give it here, mate," said Jack, holding out his hand...
(OOC: did that help, Elentari the Second?)

[OOC: Yes, it does help, but I'd still prefer it if sometime took it from here...if I must I must, and I'll put it in this post using the edit option, but I hope someone else will take this up...]
[OOC: Apologies about the 'R' rating...I didn't think...]

Lady Galuwen swim towards the beach, pushing her way past the currents. Her heavy red dress made the swim even harder for her to stay a float. Once she was able to stand. She turned back towards a ship sailing away. "Fine! But I can still fight Lady or not. I would have won that bet! Bloody Pirates!" Turning around she saw that she was not alone. And that all eyes were upon her. "What?" Picking up the ends of her dress she made her ways onto the beach. Her long red hair fell wet as it stuck to her face. "My name is Galuwen," She said trying to force a smile. Galuwen saw what looked to be a pirate with dark hair, wearing a red bandana trying to hide his laughter. "What, have you ever tried to swim in a corset before." And with that he stopped.

(Heya. Welcome to the Middle-earth RPs! Finally... I have someone else to RP with! So, where'd you find me... I'm sure I don't know you! Ah well... here goes nothing... Ak... I have no PotC character... moment...)
Ravena, Raven for short, looked up the beach. There, walking up was a woman. Jack was laughing wildly, when she commented: "What, have you tried to swim in a corset before?" Elizabeth would've giggled, Raven thought, as she welcomed the newcomer, seemingly a surviver of a shipwreak, or something of the like. ((OOC: I can't do Jack well enough... wonder if Elentari II, Warious, or Maul can.))
"I'm Raven Solo," said Raven, wiping her hand off, and holding it out in welcome. "So, what's your name, and how'd you find us here, in this deserted island?"

Iam a mod for the Gathering of the Elves. I run the RPG board there. Big lotr, star wars fan, and potc fan. Your site is like heaven to me. "I was not brought here by choice." Galuwen looked over at the ocean and to the ship fading away in the distance. "They did not take to kindly to a women a board their ship. And even more so, that the women bet them in the skill of a sword!" She yelled as if she was talking to the ship far away. Turning her attention back towards Raven. "I was kidnaped. Held for money. But they soon found out they kidnaped the wrong Lady. I did kill three of them before I was thrown overboard. Bloody Pirates."

((OOC: You are...? Okay.... lesse.... okay, you are there... coolness! I never thought anyone from Gathering would come here. Glad you like it, I never have seen a crossover site, so I deceided to make one! And we are all doomed! Mwha-ha-ha-ha! Welcome. Oh, just wondering, but am I allowed to just join into one of the Gatherings RPGs? I do have a character in the discussion area up...)) "I would not call pirates 'bloody' around here, mate," Raven said with a faint smile, though she knew quite well that the woman was not talking about them. "Yes, a woman on board is bad luck, but not for those aboard the ship, but for those that go against that ship. Trust me, I should know." As a testimony to that thought, she twirled her sword around. "Not every woman brings bad luck. So, kidnapped, you say?" Raven grinned. "Ever think of the word revenge? Welcome to the Island in the Middle of Nowhere, mate! All of us left behind, and no way to get off. What I would give to get off this hole, and see some action again! And what of you? After time, you'll grow to hate your companions as much as I have. You'll soon see." She gazed off at the ship sailing into the distance, it's sails lit by the fading sunlight. Soon nightfall would come, and the Island once again lit in the eerie glow of moonlight. ((Don't ya'll just love these things? )) :D8-)

( OOC: Can I play? Oh, what they hey, I'll post anyways! And welcome, Galuwen Tharen, to the INSANITY)
Adrian strolled down the beach to where the two women were talking, stepping on Jack's feet along the way. He yelped and swore in pain. " Oh, hush, Jack, you shouldn't be using that kind of language in front of a Lady," she snapped, a teasing glimmer in her blue eyes. " You? A lady? Soon we'll be callin' me a Count and sitting about, drinking tea," Jack muttered darkly. " As if you could ever give up your rum," Adrian countered, noting the half full bottle he held in his hand. Jack looked her in the eye and took a long swig from the bottle. Adrian wrinkled her nose in disgust as she continued down the beach. " Pirates hate getting beaten at their own game," Adrian said with a wicked grin, then continued, "Never a good thing, getting kidnapped by pirates. Escaping, on the other hand, is quite a blessing. I am Adrian," she said to the woman in red.

"My name is Galuwen. And it would be a pleasure to meet you if the circumstanes were different." Looking around at the others she asked. "Iam wondering how did you all manage to get stuck here as well. And by the looks of things you all have no idea as to how to get off this Island."

" Aye, that it would," Adrian said as Jack staggered down to her side. " Hello, love," he said to Galuwen as he swayed, trying to keep his balance. Adrian looked at him and rolled her eyes. " Believe me, if we knew how to get off this accursed strip of land, we would have done so by now," she said in disgust as she scanned the horizon.

Turnning her gaze towards the water. She starts to see something floating along the waves. It's too far in the distance to tell what it is. Galuwen quickly ran to the shores edge. The light cought something gold, showing Galuwen what it was. "Someone is out there!" She yelled.

The scorching sun beat down upon her as she lay upon a wide piece of wooden debris, all that was left of the ship she had once been upon. How long she'd been adrift she couldn't recall. The non-stop rocking of the ocean having become something all to familar after the ship she'd been upon had come under attack. Her amethyst silk satin gown with gold embroidery had been torn during the attack, its full skirt in tatters as well as the sleeves. The salt water stung the scratches on her legs and arms as she floated aimlessly in the water. Turning her head slightly she though in the distance she saw land, but questioned her judgement. Could this be some figment of her imagination, brought about by her being shipwrecked upon this piece of driftwood, or was what she saw an actual reality?

Adrian shaded her eyes from the hot sun and peered out towards the floating object. " It's a girl!" she yelled. The others ran down the sand and stood besides her. " We have to get her to land! Come on, all who can swim!" she said quickly as she began to wade into the ocean. The girl was drifting closer, propelled by the gentle waves that lapped the sandy shore. It did not take long to reach her. " Jack, grab that end!" Adrian ordered. " Aye!" Jack replied as he gripped the end of the board. Adrian took hold of the other side and, between the two of them, they managed to get the girl to shore.

Her eyes had been closed while she drifted upon the water when she thought she heard voices. Turning her head to see a group headed towards her into the sea. Thinking they were a figment of her imagination brought on by the sun's tormenting rays she closed her green eyes once more when she heard the voices growing closer till she felt hands upon the piece of driftwood she was on. Again opening her eyes she looked at those around her, bringing her in towards shore- something she hadn't felt beneath her for some time after being adrift on the seas. She was weak from lack of water and food but was thankful to be upon solid land once more.
Hearing a female voice beside her, she turned to look at her as she tried to move. Being only strong enough to turn her head. Her mouth was so dry she could barely speak, what came out ended up being in a coarse whisper. "I.....hear....you..... Where..... am.... I?"

"you are on an island." Brushing the hair from the women's face, a look of shock wash over Galuwen. "Linwelos? Linwelos it's me Galuwen."

As her vision sharpened and she looked at the oh so familiar face, she barely had enough voice left to ask, "Galuwen? Is that you?"
She could not recall when the last time she'd seen her was. All she knew was that she'd seemed to have disappeared without a trace, leaving everyone else completely baffled as to what had happened to her. And now here after a shipwreck that had left her adrift to stumble upon this unknown island, she once more sees her friend, as well as others she did not know.

Galuwen watched her try to move and could see the pain in her eyes. "Yes, it's me." Galuwen said with a smile as a tear fell from her eyes. "I thought I'd never see you again. What happed, how bad are you hurt?"

"The ship I was on was came under attack, by pirates no less. It came up out of nowhere and was upon us like a cat upon a mouse. I managed to escape by jumping into the water when a tremendous explosion occurred." Linwelos said as best she could, coughing slightly, her throat extremely scratchy and sore.
"When I got to the surface of the water, the ship was sailing away and the one I had been aboard had gone up in flames, blown in two. More than likely I am the only surviver unless they took captives on board."
