It is a lot like LOTR, but it's great none the less. He's writing the screenplay. Gosh, I would die to be in that movie.

What'd I tell ya. Books ta movies.
WHY CAN'T TAD WILLIAMS HAVE A MOVIE!!!! HE'S SUCH A BETTER WRITER THAN CHRISTOPHER PAOLINI! HIS NAME'S EVEN COOLER!!!!!!! GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! *seeths*
And I would give anything to see Jiriki on film..... *sniff* Nobody throw anything at me, but Tad Williams is a better writer even than Tolkien. And for me, that's saying a heck of a lot, let me tell you. *sniff* I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY'RE MAKING A MOVIE OFF OF ERAGON!!!!!!! *cries* What's Eragon when you could have a hot Sithi prince?
Not that most of you even know what a Sitha is... *sigh* Why do I even try...
There are hundreds of books that should be made movies. Five of them in particular.... *hint hint*

Not understanding films is good - means that there's a greater chance of an Academy Award nomination. "This film's terrible! No-one understood it!" "(shocked gasp) You DIDN'T understand it? But the message is so simple!" "... Ah... uh... right... oh, yes, I see now. Ah. AH. Ah, that's good. Right. Um. OK. Best film, then." I'm making a film. I'm taking bits from rotk, and filming bits with my friends, like an mst but on camera... I'm GOING to read Eragon, but waiting till it comes out in paperback. I'm spending all my money on my friends' xmas presents, OK? AND THIS IS MY FIFTIETH POST! WOOO! Rani, half half

We should make a movie! Whee! *plot bunnies*
The series is called 'Memore, Sorrow, and Thorn'. Books: The Dragon Bone Chair, Stone of Farewell, To Green Angel Tower -- Volumes I and II. Yes, they sound like bad Fantasy, no, they aren't.
Finally, somebody agrees about Drow being cool. *glares at un-cool drow-disliking people*

We should all go to a summer camp together for the simple point of a) terrifying anyone who is not one of us and b) making a movie. and it can be all about us. it will be really good. it will be about... a crazy girl who makes a website but then her world is dramatically changed by a bunch of crazy fans from all over the world. including norway. *snicker* i likey.

How many nationalities do we represent, anyway? Canadian, American, British, Norwegian..... are there any other ones I don't know about? *ponders* Do we have any Mexicans?
*is imagining all of the MEIers at a camp.... alone...* Heh. I think we'd probably get the cops called on us. Lightsaber making is, I do believe, illegal in some places..... snrk. Except on Ebay, of course. We could hold our camp on ebay.....

WOW! i think a camp would be the epitome of cool. and maybe i should read Eragon again... I don't think Tad Williams is better than Tolkein, the style's competley different, but he is really really good. I suppose I should read Dragonbone Chair after Otherland...or during...i usually have like four books going on at once.

I think I'm reading..... three right now.... none Tad Williams, 'cause I'm out of Tad Williams books to read....
He is better than Tolkien, writing wise. Plus, Otherland's just a bit more... complicated, than some books. Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn is better. So is War of the Flowers.

(sniff) I feel all alone... I don't get to go to summer camp... all I get to do every summer is work for my dad or help with the 4-day drama course for 8-11 year olds... Oh right, we're meant to be talking about books, aren't we? Umm. Ooh, just read the book of Peter Pan. It was SO NIFTY! Also, reading next books of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, hehehehe. Rani, half half , now a at last!

Ooooh, haven't read it but it sounds COOOOOL. I ADORE Peter Pan. And NOT because a) Johnny Depp played JM Barrie in 'Finding Neverland' and b) I'm apparently Peter and Wendy combined. Both of those are theories of my friend. Still reading the Restaurant at the End of the Universe... hehehehehe, Marvin... Rani, half half also now a
