Beyond, I have read Finder. Odd book. You are talking about the book with Orient, and the drug in which they attempted to turn people into elves, and he was an escapee from Earth, and the main girl got killed from some strange virus, the world was called the Border Lands? Agh, that made no sense. It wasn't a bad book, just a bit odd. I actually own it.
Yes! Jessica is Force-sensitive! I swear it... they're all Jedi in disguse...
The ending of Dune was a tad pathetic. Poor Paul... Dune expressions are cool. I don't wanna go to Arakiss, ill stick to SW worlds, methinks. I read it all in the daytime, Duncariel, so I don't really know what you mean though. I suppose it would be a bit bothersome to read in the middle of the night, however... be dreaming about fremen jumping out at you...

Was it just me, or does anyone else see the fremen as looking slightly akin to Tusken Raiders...?

Hmmmm... maybe. Without the masks, an all that. I liked the Fremen.
It was an okay book, but I don't think the characters were developed enough. Like Feyd-Rautha. I still don't understand that particular fellow. Or the Mentat, erm.... Thufir something or other. The intrigue was fascinating, though.

I finished Dragonbone Chair!!!! The Sithi are SO COOL!!!! almost cooler than elves... But An'nai DIED!!! *sobs openly* That was messed up! He was so cool... Prince Jiriki is totallly awesome, too! I don't really like the whole Pryrates and Ineluki thing. Makes me a bit uneasy. Ineluki actually reminds me of Sauron, now that I think about it... Those books are VERY similar to Lord of the Rings.

I just finished reading Eragon and cannot wait for the next one to be published. I also love any and all of J.R.R. Tolkien's works.

I KNOW!!!!!!!!!! THEY KILLED HIM!!!!! Although, I seem to have a knack for choosing the character that's going to die to be my favorite character. Happens all the time.
*shivers* Pryrates bothers me, too. Shiny bald head.... *shivers again*
The Ineluki thing is really tragic. You get more 'o that story in the second book *coughbestonecough*. 'Tis rather depressing, really. Wait till ya meet Jiriki's sister. *snicker* She cracks me up.

*sigh* Yes, they have them in paperback. They're eight dollars. I've been meaning to buy them for, well, since I read them two years ago, but they never have the first one when I go! It's super annoying. They have it now, but now I'm broke.
I went to Canada this summer, yes? And I had a ton 'o money, so I was going to buy them. But the didn't have 'em there!! Just the last two!!! So frustrating...

I LOOOVE Artemis Fowl! So cool. Haha, my sister's met Eoin Colfer. He told her that she probably had fairy blood in her, cos she had red fair, was short, could touch her nose with a tongue and wanted to be able to fly. HOW COOL? I really want to read Eragon, but I'm waiting for it to come out in paperback before I make my parents buy it for me... Has anyone else read 'Pirates' by Celia Rees, or any of the 'Edge Chronicles' by Paul Riddell, or 'Sabriel', 'Lirael' and 'Abhorsen' by Garth Nix, or the 'Keys to the Kingdom' series, also by Garth Nix? Yeah, I'm a fantasy bookworm. 'Pirates' is basically about two female pirates in the 18th century, one of whom is the daughter of a landowner who ran away to escape a marriage - she was in love with a sailor - and one is a runaway slave, and it's a really cool story. The Edge Chronicles are stories from another world, which is basically an edge. It's just a bit jutting out into space, cut off from the rest of land by a really big forest, the Deepwoods. It handles different generations - there's one about Quint, a sky pirate, then a trilogy about his son Twig, then a trilogy about another boy Twig's age called Rook who is a librarian knight, set when Twig is an old man. And they're all really good!!! The last one in the Rook series has just come out, and I wanna read it... *sniff* What else did I say? Oh yes, 'Sabriel', 'Lirael' and 'Abhorsen' is a trilogy also set in another world, where there is the Old Kingdom, where magic exists, and Ancelstierre, pretty much like our world. The first one is about a girl called Sabriel trying to save her father, the Abhorsen - a man who banishes the dead, basically, when some necromancer wakes them up. And she has to use the skills of an Abhorsen herself, and try and save the Old Kingdom. 'Lirael' and 'Abhorsen' are about a girl called Lirael and a boy called Sameth, and is set about twenty years after 'Sabriel'. They're all really good too. And finally (wow, this post must be getting really boring) 'The Keys to the Kingdom' is a series of seven books, two of which have come out so far. The ones that have come out are called 'Mister Monday' and 'Grim Tuesday', and there's one for each day of the week. For once set in this world (SHOCK HORROR!) Really can't summarize it, so here's what it says on the website: 'Seven days. Seven keys. Seven virtues. Seven sins. One mysterious house is the doorway to a very mysterious world -- where one boy is about to venture and unlock a number of fantastical secrets.' Keys to the Kingdom is my favourite, I think, and number one on my list to turn into a film when I become a director (haha, I wish) along with all those others, and a remake of 'Troy' - man, that movie sucked. So, uh, has anyone else read any of those? Rani, half half

Jean M Auel...anything by her...I hope some of you are old enough to read it, its detonating.
Bertrice Small, Skye O' Malley's her series for all the ladies....she's a bit of a Captain Jack Sparrow with a lot of class....
Eat This by Mary Mc Hugh. You can find it in the little spinner thingies in Hallmark. They're guaranteed to make any gal free from her chains of diet oppression at last.
Skinny Women are Evil by Mo'Nique. Not to say they are....but she breaks any woman free from diet bondage for all time and makes you feel fantastic!

Eoin Colfer's really cool, apparently. He's really friendly because he genuinely likes his fans. Also, he's kinda short as well, another reason my sister liked him so much. Also, he signed her books! Wooo! I remember once JK Rowling came to my local bookshop... but I couldn't meet her because I was having my tonsils out!! Raaaargh!! But my friend went, and got her to sign a get-well-soon card for me!! How cool? I still have it somewhere... Tiana Twig?.... I'm intrigued. Also, I want a pet Caterbird. And Dufflepud. Augh! That is not fair! Just because you live in Britain, you get to meet all these authors... Yarg! Artemis Fowl is awesome, except I do not like the way the last one ends. Too disappointing. And I've read Pirates! as well. Great idea, too long execution.
A pet dufflepud or pod? Whish one is it, though...

Artemis Fowl had better have a book four, or else I'm writing fanfic! (evil grin)
Tiana Twig... *rolls eyes* Okay... explanation to follow: Adrienne and I were hyper. There's a Veggie Tales movie (Sumo of the Opra) and the second part of it has to do with Saint Patrick and Ireland, and there was something in it about a twig... and we were being weird, and matchmaking each other with weird characters... erm... needless to say, since I am Tiana somehow I became Tiana Twig. Snicker. (looks at clothes) Odd, because the clothes I am wearing look remotely tree-colored...

Ah.... I understand.... uh... I think.... Ah yes, being English has its perks. Like my sister meeting Ioan Gruffudd... hehehehehe... wow, he's cool... and having several connections to Orlando Bloom... actually, being English ROCKS. Not because I like Orlando Bloom, but because I get to make fangirls jealous by telling them that I've seen a video of him in Pirates of Penzance when he was only my age. Ha HA. And for your information, he looks and sounds exactly the same as he does now. Oh, and also, another good thing about England - the Star Wars special edition DVDs came out here two days before America. Wooo! And I get to audition for That weird kid with the glasses... what's his name? Peeves: Potty Wee Rotter. films! Wooo! OK, going to stop going on about being English now. Sorry. But we get so little to cheer about. Have you seen these books out called 'The Artemis Fowl Files'? They have some mini-stories in them, and stuff about all the characters, which is pretty cool. And there's a reference to a story concerning Artemis and Holly, which might mean that there's going to be another book. Which would rock. Hey, did you know that for the Artemis Fowl films, they're thinking of Winona Ryder for Holly Short? Don't know what you think about that, but I think ARGH. Rani, half half

Eragon is a really good book, is ALOT like Tolkiens work. THere are alot of similaritys! Pirates is good! Have you read Witch Child? I loved Sabriel and I am reading Lirael right now! Has anyone read Come like Shadows? It's about the play Macbeth and a girl who travels back in time! It's really cool.
I am jealous of you cuz your english! London is my favourite place in the whole world! Minus of course my own home. I love it there! I hopeful get to go next summer! *excited* I was there this summer actully! I love it! Anyone read " I know this much it true" by Wally Lamb? IT's a good book, but there is some foul language, and not to nice subjects, but it's well written.
